To Calvary!

As some of you have heard, the wait is finally over! This past Sunday (2/15), Calvary Baptist Church here in Lubbock voted to call me, Damon, as Associate Pastor of Education, and we were all too happy to accept that call. It's been a fun few weeks getting to know the pastor, staff, and search team from Calvary, and God has been good to bring us to such a loving place.

It brings to an end what has been 6 months of waiting to see what God has for us. Although we haven't known where he would take us week-to-week and month-to-month, it has been a time of God proving his faithfulness to take care of us when we step out on faith and have nothing to trust in but him. Thanks to all who have prayed for us and done so much for us for the last few months; we know there are lots of folks out there who rejoice with us in the beginning of this new ministry.

It killed me not to put a picture of some sort on here, so here's one of the outside of the building. It's located just west of 82nd & Slide. Our first Sunday will be March 1st, and if you're ever in the area, come see us!
