My First Paints

Avery got a paint set for Christmas. It's these chunky things she can hold in her whole hand without having to use her fingers like you would for a crayon or brush. This is the chronicle of her first time to use them.

It began simple enough...

As expected, her hand was more fun to color than the paper.

At one point, the clothes just had to come off, the paper moved over to her plastic tray from the kitchen table, and the paint found its way into her mouth.

And in the middle was snack time. That, my friends, is a multi-colored graham cracker.

We're so excited!

And, in the West family sign for "All done!" you see an excellent display of her coverage with the paint. The palms are almost black, the forearms have good distribution, the face found more color, and her tummy is very festive. To the bathtub!
